Men's jewelry is just like any other types of jewelry. They need to be cleaned regularly and they need to be stored in a dry and safe place. If you happen to be one of those people who have a collection of men's jewelry, you need to know the basic things about cleaning and storing your collection.

Caring For Your Rings

When it comes to men's jewelry, the men's jewelry ring is one of the most popular. If you have a couple of rings in your collection, make sure that you clean your ring regularly. No, you do not need to bring your rings to the jewelry cleaner to have them cleaned. 

If you have a plain gold ring, you can just use a cleaning solution that is made of mild soap dish and lukewarm water. Take care not to put any bleaching agent into the solution. Bleaching agents can damage your rings.

To clean your rings, dip it into the cleaning solution and then rinse it in warm running water. After rinsing the rings, buff it gently with a soft lint free cloth until they sparkle. Once the rings are dry, wrap them individually in tissue paper or cotton cloth and put them inside your men's jewelry box.

If you do not have a men's jewelry box where you can put your rings, never mind, you can just store your rings in a safe place in the house.

Most men own at least one piece of wristwatch. This is one piece of jewelry which men are most comfortable with. When it comes to maintenance and care, wristwatches are easy to maintain. If you have one of those classic wristwatches that still needs winding, you should wind your watch regularly to keep it going. On the other hand, if your wristwatch happens to be one of those solar operated or motion sensitive models, you need not worry about winding your watch anymore.

Just make sure that you clean your watch and then store it in its proper place after using. If you have a men's jewelry box at home, put your wrists watch inside your box for safekeeping when not in use.
