A Big Girls Jewelry Box

Little girls are more prone to collecting things as their mother would have, especially jewelry and cosmetics, and therefore would first start out with the little girls jewelry box.

The parent would normally give them one as soon as they realize their jewelry is going missing or the tiny little hands that got smacked when in their own boxes are damaging their makeup.

In the beginning they would have all plastic jewelry in there, and as they become more and more responsible, the parent would invest in a proper girls jewelry box. One that would normally suite the teenager, she could decorate it with little pictures and odd pieces of jewelry that she probably doesn’t ware any more.

It could even have sequence stuck on it, to look like rubies and diamonds. She could have even gotten a girls jewelry box as a present, that she herself would have to decorate from scratch, just to really personalize it.

She would have to paint it, seal it with a varnish of some sort, and decorate it too. She would have to put a lot of thought into it, as she would want to keep it and cherish it for the rest of her life.

Small And Large Jewelry Box

And yes, there is a girl’s large jewelry box too; this would normally be called a trousseau chest for things that she would need one day. So now she would have a small and large jewelry box in her room. Normally the mother would give her, her wedding dress that she originally wore when she got married.

It would have been wrapped in plastic for protection, and saved for the little girl until she grew up, and one day too wanted to marry. The trousseau would also be used for storage of linen and nightclothes for the night of the wedding.

She would collect these articles for the duration of her engagement, and would protect them with the utmost caution, as these are just part of her requirements to make her dreams come true on that special day.
 
The day has been set, and she would frequent the little girls jewelry box and the big girls jewelry box, the closer the day approaches. Her eyes begin to sparkle just as much as the jewelry in the little girls jewelry box.

She is in arms reach of her dreams. She would have to frequent the large jewelry box too, just to make sure that the dress is still in tact, and eventually shortly before the big day, make sure that it is a perfect fit for her wedding day.
